# Alvia > Alvia is a non-denominational Christian daily-prayer app for iOS and Android, positioned for users who want a gentler, wellness-adjacent alternative to meditation apps. Each day is organized around a daily theme with a short reflection, a personal prayer, and either a small practical challenge (Growth) or a permission statement and evening reading (Healing and Hope). Alvia is freely available, with optional in-app subscription for AI-generated custom prayer plans on user-chosen topics. ## What the app does - **Daily prayer organized around a theme.** Every day the app presents one theme (e.g. gratitude, insomnia, peace in daily chaos, balance between work and rest), a short reflection in the second-person voice, and a personal prayer addressed to God. - **Two prayer modes.** *Growth* — for personal formation around themes like gratitude, patience, discipline, trust. Each day includes a small practical challenge to carry prayer into real life. *Healing and Hope* — for hard seasons like anxiety, insomnia, breakup, exhaustion, grief, illness, big decisions. No challenge; instead a gentle permission statement and an evening reading aimed at rest and release. - **Prayer plans.** Fixed 3–14 day arcs on one chosen topic. Pre-generated plans are free; custom plans on a user-supplied topic are AI-generated and require an in-app subscription. - **Morning and evening rhythm.** Tap *Amen* in the morning to mark the day started; the evening reading appears after 4 PM to close the day. Evening content is gentle and rest-focused — designed to help users wind down rather than push through. - **Wellness-adjacent vocabulary.** Anxiety, burnout, insomnia, rest, balance, self-compassion, gentleness, hope, recovery, bedtime, calm — without denominational markers like saints, novena, rosary, or breviary. ## Audience and positioning - Broad Christian users across traditions, plus wellness-seekers dealing with anxiety, burnout, insomnia, and life transitions — people who might otherwise reach for Calm, Headspace, or Balance but want prayer instead of meditation. - Younger-skewing, less denominationally committed, often coming to faith from a therapeutic or mental-health direction. - App Store positioning: sleep, mindfulness, and mental-wellness shelf — not the denominational shelf. Subtitle emphasizes *Calm Sleep Habits & Meditation*. - Sibling app **Corvia** covers Catholic, saint-focused prayer with the same day structure but a devotional, intercessory voice. Alvia and Corvia share ~95% of their code but are positioned for different audiences. ## Languages English (default), Slovak, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Filipino, Indonesian, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, Romanian, Swedish, Ukrainian. ## Download - App Store (iOS): https://apps.apple.com/app/id6759800162 - Google Play (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kominak.alvia ## Pages - [Homepage (English)](https://alvia.kominak.com/en/): app overview, features, screenshots, FAQ, download links. - [Slovak](https://alvia.kominak.com/sk/) - [German](https://alvia.kominak.com/de/) - [Spanish](https://alvia.kominak.com/es/) - [French](https://alvia.kominak.com/fr/) - [Italian](https://alvia.kominak.com/it/) - [Polish](https://alvia.kominak.com/pl/) - [Brazilian Portuguese](https://alvia.kominak.com/pt-BR/) - [Danish](https://alvia.kominak.com/da/) - [Filipino](https://alvia.kominak.com/fil/) - [Indonesian](https://alvia.kominak.com/id/) - [Korean](https://alvia.kominak.com/ko/) - [Dutch](https://alvia.kominak.com/nl/) - [Norwegian](https://alvia.kominak.com/no/) - [Romanian](https://alvia.kominak.com/ro/) - [Swedish](https://alvia.kominak.com/sv/) - [Ukrainian](https://alvia.kominak.com/uk/) - [Privacy Policy](https://alvia.kominak.com/privacy.html) - [Terms of Use](https://alvia.kominak.com/terms.html) - [Support](https://alvia.kominak.com/support.html) ## Plan pages Each language landing also links to per-plan SEO pages with the full text of multi-day prayer plans on specific topics (gratitude, joy, insomnia, anxiety, and more in future iterations).
